10th months ago when I start to train Karate I didn’t think about combat or participations in tournaments. But, I decide to have a try and do my best in Distrital Tournament. I start with Kata but I was eliminated on second round because a amateur mistake. Then I fight versus a really good fighter. I received several kicks and pounchs, because of that I lost 7 to 5. Then I have a second chance to fight for the bronze medal and I win the second challenge 1-0, with a lot of fear but a better technique.
This is my first meda, it hurts a lot, but it’s a good reason to continue learning, practicing and improving my skills, not only like karateka, also like a person. Here some photos

After a hard training for 6 months, survive to a hard influenza who make me stay on bed for 2 days and some advices from Botero sensei and Diana sensei. We (Ruri, Laura and I) get yellow belt. Now I can train and fight on combats. Well, there are several bets that say that I’m going to be beaten a thousand of times but I hope to be good and continue growing up.
