A lot of changes have been done in my life last month and half. Several of these changes are rare, maybe incorrect, misunderstanding and a lot of things. This oportunity have revelaed me who support me, who doesn’t and the friends, the real friends.

I feel so grateful to a real special person for all the things we lived, for all, was a experience to remember all my life. unfortunately, he life have several ways to us and sometimes it takes to diferent roads or situations that make us change, change a lot.

Today a lot of thigs are differents, starting from my professional life until my sentimental life. But all counts, also the past, in fact, the past counts a lot.

Now my life takes a new road, new goals, my master studies, live alone and continue recovering the missed time, 3 years of missed time, the count today goes in 2 years I’ve recovered one year.

No matter how other’s opinions affect me, I have to continue, go ahead and take my new “mantra”: Goes for the happiness.

Are we free?, today 20th of July there’s something to celebrate?.

I think we are only talking about the change of the boss, the name on the owner.  Today I’m not patriotic. a lot of people can think this about my opinions. But, be patriotic goes beyond to watch the military parade, shake the colombian flag. Today we are so much slave than before and we think we are free. two hundred years and we are still in “war statement”, still have bad goberments, each time worse, we are still a Colony. The think is that we are not owner by one, no, we are owned by several organizations, countries.

Today is the day to change our mind. Freedom is build by each one of us, doing everyday something for the people, searching for a change.  Look for a real justice for the people. Sharing our work and ideas for a better place. Respect the life. Have an opinion associated with our actions. Stop of beliving everything the press and tv show us.

The change depends of us, not depends of “our goberments”.

Hello again. Day 2 of the big tour, Pereira City my new destiny since day 1 night. Thanks to Acme advice, I sleept at “Hotel del café” and eat a really good breakfast. Then, a little trip to the Airport. Here a funny info: The airport is next to the Zoo .

Inside of the airport I was on the control tower and see how an airport works. Later I have a long trip around the city and finally I finish all my work. Pereira it’s a wonderful city with great people and some beatiful places to visit

At night I get a bus to Popayán city, day 3 destiny

Second Colombian Campus Party is here. All starts on July 6th to July 12th. Thanks to our work we (Ruri and I) are going to present 2 tutorials.

On July 9th I going to share a tutorial called: “Mensajería Instantánea, más allá de los emoticones”

On July 11th Ruri is going to share a tutorial called: “Diseñando con Software Libre”

We have a lot of expectations and Ideas for this year, also, activities and time to share with some friends.

Of course, a lot of Open Source software to share

FLISoL Bogota 2009 was pretty good. In fact we receive more people that the expected, also counting all problems with networking, comunications, repositories and other stuffs. Don’t forget the responsability of install on a machine that isn’t yours. It´s a big stress charge.

Here you can foud installation stats and global stats. All thins numbers make us happy and show us that the work was good and there was a great team on the lead of this festival.

Now we have several challenges: A new place for FLISoL 2010 because the library was good but not enought, few space and some rules that make us change the usual festival ways to do the things. Also count with people more preparated and with better skills. And finally better internet and energy.

Special thanks to Ruri for all her work: she design Bogotá Festival’s image and also another 11th cities posters and flyers. Also she participate with 3 tutorials about graphical desing with open source software and OpenOffice. Ohh, and help me with all refered to press and comunications

Next april 25th Bogota going to be a big festival around Free Software, Open Culture ando more. Latinamerica is going to celebrate the Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación de Software Libre. Everybody is invited.

Bogota is going to have install festival, conferences, tutorials, expo and more.

Risght now I feel really tired. This have been a very hard year, final University year, graduate project, new jobs. I hope all my work stuff ends soon and I could start to work only

This week I’ve to travel to Ibague City (In Tolima deparment) because I have a work there. This trip have some straign things, like I go and return in 24 hours and also I sleep one night in a house of some friends of my boss. The nice thing was that the house is a “Dog campus”, so there was a lot of dogs, nice dogs. So I take some photos and share here.

I hope to go again in some weeks, and also hope to play with the dogs and take better photos

Yo no como entero lo que sale en prensa o en televisión, que aunque muchos digan lo contrario es manipulada, de un país que debido al querido presidente y sus amigos se lleno de violencia para contrarrestar más violencia.

Es cierto que hay infiltración guerrillera en las universidades públicas, de hecho eso es más viejo que muchos que como yo asistimos a diario a la universidad con la excusa de aprender algo pero no vamos en son de violencia ni mucho menos.

Así que por favor, no nos tilden de guerrilleros o terroristas por pensar por nosotros mismos, de hecho no es necesario tener una gente con capuchas en la cabeza para darse cuenta de la situación del país y como hemos sido para el estado, las universidades públicas, son “plagas a exterminar”.

Actualización 1: Pensando todo muy bien me doy cuenta de algo, esto fácilmente puede ser una razón fuerte para poder ingresar de forma violenta con las fuerzas armadas a las universidades e intentar regular el modo de pensar de uno de los pocos lugares donde se cree que se posee algo de libertad de pensamiento.

No se, que tal a partir del día de hoy ya no hayan celadores en las puertas sino oficiales de la ESMAD, que horror
